Reflection
Points:
1. What is your first response when the yuckies of life hit?
2. Which one of these disciplines do you struggle with the most: rejoicing in the blessings of today, displaying gentleness, pressing into the Lord during tough times, or praying with a thankful heart?
3. Read 2 Corinthians 10:5. How does it apply to today's devotion? How is it applicable to you?
Power
Verses:
2 Corinthians 10:5, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." (NIV)
Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (NIV)
Psalm 5:11-12, "But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (NIV)
