Radio Offer #52: Scriptural Prayers for Your Friendships

That Jesus would be at the center of our friendships and that we would imitate God's love to one another. That the eyes of my unsaved friend would be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that Jesus would become attractive to her because of the love she sees in me (Eph. 5:1, 2 Pet. 3:9).

That our hearts would be tightly knit so that our friendship would not be broken. That we would be there to help one another when one falls. That we would be warm companions as this world can be so cold (Ecc. 4:10-12).

That we would be faithful to pray for one another (Ja. 5:16).

That no unwholesome talk would come out of our mouths, but only what is helpful for
building each other up so that it may benefit all who listen (Ephes. 4:29).

That there would be no bitterness, anger, brawling, or slander between us. That we would be compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgives us (Ephes. 4:31-32).

Because we are holy and dearly loved children of God, let us always show one another love, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (Col. 3:12-13, 1 Jo. 4:7).

That we would not just love with words but also with actions. That we would be willing to serve and help one another at all times (Prov. 17:17, 1 Jo. 3:18).
