The small email discussion groups were developed so that the women could do more than just share information, they could be involved in each others lives in such a way that they can truly encourage each other to be godly Proverbs 31 Women.

Each cell group has a name, most based on flower and plant names. Each cell group also has a leader to monitor discussion and encourage women to discuss issues related to the Seven Principles of the Proverbs 31 Woman. The development of friendships is encouraged in all groups and the discussion is not always serious. Prayer concerns are shared, and Scripture is often discussed as women ask questions about passages they have read. Each cell group is unique and has its own ever-changing character.

Regular Cell Groups:
The regular cell groups discuss issues that are relevant to most women, such as married life and parenting, as well as homemaking issues from a scriptural stand point. The current list of active regular cell groups are: Daffodil, Gardenia, Lilac, and Sunflower.

All cell group members are expected to follow the Proverbs 31 Online Community Guidelines.

Special Focus Cell Groups

Because women have different needs and different concerns, over the past few years we have added several special focus cell groups. The addition of these groups is based on needs expressed and the availability of leadership.

NEW!!....The Bluebell cell group (p31bluebell@proverbs31.org) provides support and encouragement for women suffering with Chronic Illness.

The Heather cell group (p31heather@proverbs31.org) encourages and supports home-schooling moms. This group discusses issues related to home-schooling, including resources for home-schooling, and home-schooling problems.

The Iris cell group (p31irisdw@proverbs31.org) supports and encourages women who are divorced or are going through divorce. This does not mean the Proverbs 31 Ministries encourages divorce, but accept that this a reality and that divorced women have special needs for healing and support as they go forward in life to serve God.

The Manna for Today cell group (p31manna_for_today@proverbs31.org) has been set up by request to encourage women to live a healthy lifestyle and develop better eating and exercise habits. This group will concentrate on scriptural principles and will encourage the women to mature spiritually and live a life that will enable them to serve the Lord better.

The Orchid cell group (p31orchid@proverbs31.org) is for mature women. This group discusses issues of interest to most women over 40. The topics will be based on need, but may include menopause and empty nest issues.

The Pastor's Wives cell group (p31pw@proverbs31.org) has been set up to support and encourage the wives of men in full-time pastoral leadership.

Our Sapphire cell group (p31sapphires@proverbs31.org) targets single women over the age of 25.  By single we mean women who are not currently living in a marital relationship and include widowed, separated, and divorced women.

The Wisteria cell group (p31wisteria@proverbs31.org) is for women who are gainfully employed outside the home or through a home-based business.

Because of the limited enrollment in the small groups, members of the Proverbs 31 Online Ministry may participate in a total of 2 different cell group e-mail lists (excluding the main discussion group called Noblewoman and the book club).
