"I almost passed her in the hall, but something made me stop and ask if I could help her. Jennifer said she needed prayer. I asked what I could pray for - she had lost her husband a little over year ago. He was a policeman shot in the line of duty. She had written a book about it, and about the year she has had since he died. She was at our annual She Speaks conference to talk with publishers about her book proposal. She wanted prayer that her book, and her story, would be heard. Publishers previously hadn't received her proposal favorably. I was honored and excited to pray with her. We prayed boldly and confidently together, then we talked afterward. I had a real connection with Jennifer. The next day she told me that three publishers were interested in her book. I have continued to stay in touch with her. I continue to pray with her and to encourage her. This is the difference God allows us to make through the avenues He has blessed us with, and through your support."

Lives are changed each and every day through the work God is doing at Proverbs 31 Ministries. It might be through a devotion that is being read in a remote area of Africa, through words of encouragement heard on our daily radio program, an article published in the P31 Woman Magazine, from His Word taught through a member of our amazing team of speakers, or through our Gather and Grow Groups. We see God at work through the ministries of Proverbs 31 everyday. God takes the sacrificial giving of our donors and monthly partners to change the world, one life at a time.
